Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

Home Hardware Southwest pays £137,000 to members

Published: 30 September 2013
The dealer-owned buying group recently made the payout in the form of dividends and rebates to its retail members.
Chairman David Adams said: "We are always delighted to pay our members rebates to further reward the loyalty, commitment and support they give to Home Hardware. We also appreciate the support we are receiving from our suppliers, which has helped make this possible."

The group revealed it is also in the process of launching a new "Home Reward" rebate programme, which is designed to further recognise its retail members' commitment to Home Hardware.

Chief executive Martin Elliott said: "With increased levels of support, particularly from retailers who have joined recently we hope to significantly improve the amount of rebate we can pay to members over the next few years. As an example, the more stock we can put on our weekly deliveries to retailers using our own vehicles, the more efficient it becomes, enabling us to return these savings to members."
