Home Hardware (Scotland) Ltd has launched its new, member-owned website, homehardwaredirect.co.uk to coincide with the distribution its Autumn brochure at the start of this month.
The website offers more than 6,000 products for Home Hardware customers to buy online including household, electrical, heating, DIY, tools, hardware and gardening. Next day delivery is also offered as standard to most UK addresses if orders are placed by 12 noon.

The dealer-owned buying group is utilising social media to promote the new site, with customers able to link to homehardwaredirect's Facebook and Twitter pages, where the company is also running competitions to win prizes.

Home Hardware Scotland director Chris McEwan said: "Because more and more consumers are searching for products and information online, it is important for a brand as large as Home Hardware Scotland to have a trading website. The website changes the whole dynamic of our brand marketing, but it doesn't change the ethos of Home Hardware - the bricks and mortar shops are our main profit centres."
