Home and Garden Group adds ninth garden centre

Published: 5 October 2015
The Home and Garden Group has grown its number of garden centres to nine with the acquisition of Floralands Garden Centre in Nottingham.
The site, which measures almost 5 hectares, has a farm zoo, large modern restaurant and a model railway. The former owners were Mark and Claire Spencer, Mr Spencer now being the new Conservative MP for Sherwood.

Home and Garden Group marketing manager Claire Gill said: "We are delighted to announce that today we have welcomed the ninth garden centre to our group. Floralands is a wonderful centre, full of history, and will fit in with our other centres perfectly.

"We are looking forward to bringing our ethos of being 'The Gardeners Garden Centre' to Nottingham, and our reputation for high quality plants at affordable prices."

Home and Garden Group's other centres are: Rutland, Willington, Ise, Doveleys, Shopwhyke, Stansted Park and Plowmans, and David's Nurseries.
