Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

Henkel brings sealant range to independents

Published: 29 March 2017

The UniBond indoor, outdoor, and sanitary sealant range is new to independent DIY retailers and is designed to meet all the needs of the consumer for sealing in and around the home.

The packaging clearly defines the purpose of the products and the benefits it delivers. Sanitary sealants are over half of the market and the biggest need is for products that are ‘anti-mould’, says the company.

Soap residue, dirt, and dead skin conspire along with humidity to produce unsightly black mould on sealant and tile grout. In the UniBond a mid-range anti-mould product is available, along with a Triple Protect version that repels water, soap and dirt, kills any attaching mould, and carries on lasting.
