Builder's merchanting and DIY operation Grafton Group has acquired timber merchant T Brewer & Co.
The London-based specialist business trades from three branches in Clapham, Enfield and Amersham.

Grafton says that T Brewer, which generated revenue of approximately £14m in 2015, will extend the group's coverage of the merchanting market in the London area and provide a further opportunity for profitable growth.

Grafton's merchanting businesses include Selco, Buildbase and Plumbase, and the group is also the largest DIY retailer in Ireland, with 37 Woodie's stores.
