Golf teams go head to head for peat's sake

Published: 2 June 2014
The Garden Industry Manufacturers Association's (GIMA) charity golf day tees off this Wednesday, June 4 - and will see two teams from the same company go head to head.
Bord na Móna, which is sponsoring the event's refreshments, is expecting some friendly rivalry between its teams, one representing its peat-reducted Growise brand and the other its peat-free Vital Earth brand.

Steve Harper, head of consumer UK at Bord na Móna, said the idea was a fun way to promote the brands by pointing up their similarities and their differences.

"It will be great for team building and great for re-stating our overall agenda to customers," he said.

The GIMA golf day will take place at The Telford Hotel and Golf Resort.
