Gardman scoops three GIMA awards

Published: 24 June 2009
Lincolshire-based gardening and wild bird care product supplier bags Supplier of the Year award for eighth consecutive year.
Gardman won the Supplier of the Year Award, which was sponsored by the Garden Centre Association (GCA), for the eighth year running at this year's GIMA Awards.

It also took home Best Point of Sale Material for its Moulton Mill Wall Display and the Equipment and Sundries Award for its Reusable Growbag at the event on Tuesday, June 16.

Gardman marketing director Jane Lawler: "We are thrilled to have won three GIMA awards. We have been awarded the title of Supplier of the Year for the past seven years, so to have won it for the eighth time is a wonderful achievement.

"A lot of hard work went into our entries this year and every member of staff has either directly or indirectly helped us get our awards. Everyone deserves congratulations."

More than 360 people from the garden industry attended the annual GIMA Awards, which was hosted by TV Presenter Philippa Forrester, at the Four Pillars Hotel in South Cerney, Gloucestershire.
