The book, a second edition of Richard Jackson's 150 Top Gardening Tips proved so popular with QVC customers, all 10,000 copies were sold in just 36 minutes.
The sale was a record for shopping channel QVC and Mr Jackson signed every copy to mark the 10th anniversary of his Plants and Flowers show.

QVC senior gardening and books buyer Simon Hoten said: "I'm not that surprised that Richard's book was so popular. It's a must-have for any keen gardener, containing fantastic tips, step-by-step guides, money-saving ideas, eco advice and projects for kids."
