Fiskars' SmartFit is an ambidextrous bypass pruner designed to fit perfectly in all hands.
The product has just scooped the internationally acclaimed red dot award 2013 for product design.
The SmartFit multi-fit, multi-task pruner fits large and small hands, and cuts both thinner and thicker branches. It also features a one-click mechanism to instantly double the blade aperture from 12mm up to 24mm diameter.
It is engineered from durable carbon steel, which is anti-friction coated to facilitate a smooth cutting action, while the optimised blade geometry ensures the SmartFit is as capable of dealing with dense branch areas as it is finer shaping.
The product also boasts cushioning, which introduces insulation and shock absorbing qualities.
