Fire started at old Focus DIY shop
Firefighters were called to the scene at around 6pm yesterday evening after a passer-by spotted smoke coming from the roof.

Crew commander Steve Porter said the fire had been small and that the biggest job for the team had been clearing the building of smoke.

The warehouse and shop unit on Dudley Road has stood empty for the last three years.

Crew commander Porter added that it had become a target for vandals.
