Festival Grass, from Tesselaar International, is an easy-care, ground cover Cordyline with cascading deep burgundy foliage.
Flowering in late spring with large, multi-branched panicles bearing hundreds of fragrant, pale lilac flowers, it is low maintenance, thrives in full or partial sun and will survive light to moderate frost.
It even performs well as an indoor plant that can be brought outside for the summer.
This hybrid is unique, as it does not grow into a tree, reaching no more than 100cm in height and 120cm in spread.
