Brintex, organiser of Totally Tools, DIY and Secure, announced it has received emphatic support from exhibitors for its decision to move to the NEC in Birmingham and open at the same time as Spring Fair International.

The 2010 show will run on February 7- 9 in Hall 9 of the NEC.

Long term supporter of Totally Tools, Toolbank group sales director Simon Bicknell commented: "We are very positive about the move to Birmingham for Totally Tools 2010 and the link to Spring Fair.

"This will create a show that not only has a huge range to make the trip worthwhile for retailers and merchants, but the central location will be convenient for most of our customers and provide an opportunity for us to introduce our ranges and service package to potential new outlets who are there to visit Spring Fair."

Stax Trade Centres is returning to exhibit at the 2010 show as a result of the change in location. David Hibbert, joint managing director, explained: "A DIY show at the NEC suits Stax. We have a West Midlands branch, and the NEC catchment area is much better for our network, so we will be able to get a lot more out of it. We'll be very active in promoting the show - not just from a product point of view, but also to get visitors interested in our whole operation."

Stax is not alone in its view. In fact. the move to Birmingham has prompted several past exhibitors to return to the show, including Barrettine Products, Chain Products, S&S Home Supplies, Select Hardware and Stax Trade Centres.

The shows' new home has meant a new floor plan, but Totally exhibition director James Murray said, "We're comfortable that the New Product Piazza, which we introduced last year, has earned its place at the heart of the show. It will stay in its central show position and once again offer exhibitors the opportunity to run live demonstrations."

He added: "We're also looking at running a half-day conference again for visitors.
Our Conference at the 2009 show was well-received, but getting the right speakers and content will be vital."

Online visitor registration for the 2010 shows is now available at www.totallydiy.co.uk. For further details on any of the shows call 020 7973 6401.
