Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

Exclusively Housewares kicks off in style

Published: 14 June 2016
A full house of exhibitors and a healthy crowd of visitors kicked off this year's Exclusively Housewares and Exclusively Electrical shows in London today (June 14).
This year's show features several new concepts, including an online press office, plenty of new exhibitors and the launch of 'Trend Tours' run by Scarlet Opus. These tours have been designed with the modern retailer in mind, concentrating on five key trend features for the current and upcoming seasons, as well as recognising those suppliers and manufacturers showing real trend innovation with their on-stand products.

The shows continue tomorrow (June 15) with the launch of several seminars from the likes of Retail Week shops editor John Ryan, GfK business group director Anthony Williams and Scarlet Opus' trend translator Phil Pond.

Although the exhibition is still currently underway, feedback has been positive so far among exhibitors and retail visitors with several deals being done up and down the aisles.

For a more detailed feature of the show, see the June 24 edition of DIY Week.
