Electric shock LED bulb recalled

Published: 22 January 2013
An LED bulb has been recalled from end users because of a danger from live parts.
Electric shock LED bulb recalled
The insulation on the unbranded LED Light Cup is insufficient, and as a result live parts on the face of the product could be touched by the user, delivering an electric shock.

The Chinese-made bulb is packaged in a green cardboard box and is model number GU10 24 LED Array, but batch number/barcode are unknown.

The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 62560.
