Don't pick a fight with Abus padlock

Published: 23 March 2016
The Abus 65/50 padlock has already been sold millions of times worldwide, and recently proved its worth once more when it foiled a locksmith and his 24in bolt cutters.
Don't pick a fight with Abus padlock
The brass padlock is marketed as a "piece of balanced engineering and security", with a paracentric five-pin cylinder designed to make it a very difficult pick, even for a professional.

Its 8mm hardened steel shackle is designed to prove more than a match for any cutting attack, a fact agreed to by the locksmith in question...and his broken bolt cutters.
