The pottery trade has taken another knock as Denby has entered talks with unions over jobs cuts.

With Royal Worcester and Spode as well as Waterford Wedgewood both in administration, Denby considering job cuts is a further blow to the industry.

The firm employs about 700 people in various locations across the country, the vast majority based at their headquarters in Denby, Derbyshire.
