Published: 6 October 2009
The Taiwan Hardware Show (THS) and Home Lifestyle Fair (HLS) kick off later this month (Oct 22-25) with the added attraction of the brand new Gardening Pavilion.
Countdown to Taiwan Hardware Show begins
The shows, organised by Kaigo Co, are already fully booked with more than 250 companies taking 500 booths at this year's show, and are expected to attract more than 20,000 domestic and international buyers.

THS is divided into four main themes this year - tools and accessories, building materials, automotive supplies and accessories and garden/outdoor leisure. Meanwhile HLS covers product areas including housewares, home décor, lighting accessories, kitchen and bathroom accessories, small electricals, crafts, cookware & bakeware, outdoor and leisure goods and DIY.

New to the show is the Gardening Pavilion, launched in response to growth in the garden tool market. The most recent Taiwan hand tool export data shows that garden tools is fast-becoming the second largest category with an output value of $250m.

Companies taking part include K&W Tools, Chung Cheng Scissors with its Tiger brand garden shears and Nusharp Inc.
