Garden giftware company, Fallen Fruits has seen a rush of trade orders for its Old Rectory bench after it was featured in Hillier Nurseries and Garden Centre's gold medal-winning Chelsea garden.

Hillier used the bench, which is made of mild steel, in the European section of its garden exhibit Crossing Continents. A cream version of the Fallen Fruits Old Rectory bench took pride of place as the feature piece in what was described as 'a quiet corner of an English garden filled with roses, lavender, delphiniums and aquilegias.'

Hillier head of purchasing Andrew West confirmed that the bench had received a considerable amount of compliments from the Chelsea public and that the company would be ordering a significant amount as a result. Michael Hall of Fallen Fruits added that other retailers had followed suit as a result of the product's popularity at the show.

Managing director Michael Hall said: "Old Rectory is a really stylish range of period style garden furniture and I'm delighted with the additional consumer exposure this feature by Hillier has brought us. The range was already successful and is now even more so."
