Ms Dimmock was on-hand to give local gardeners the chance to rediscover their love of the winter warmer drink in the lead up to Christmas.

Hillier Eastbourne's Garden Centre Manager, Glyn Webster, said: "Charlie's appearance really helped kick start the festive season at Hillier, as visitors were able to sample Horlicks' malty, indulgent taste whilst finding out Charlie's winter gardening tips.

"It will soon be time for Hillier to welcome another special visitor, as Father Christmas has made time in his busy schedule to visit us again this year."

From November 30, Santa's grotto will be at Hillier Eastbourne and there will also be children's entertainment.

"As always there will be something for everyone, so whilst children enjoy our Santa Experience, parents can take their time to browse our extensive plant range and giftware or stop for a fresh coffee or delightful cake in our café," added Mr Webster.
