Casswells in Midsomer Norton, Somerset, has scooped the first prize in Home Hardware South West's Olympic-themed window dressing competition.

The hardware store's general manager, Andrew Edwards, said: "After coming runner-up in Home Hardware's Jubilee window dressing competition, we're thrilled to have been awarded first place this time.

"I have my staff's enthusiasm to thank for this. I would like to give a special thank you to [his wife] Caroline who worked exceptionally hard to create the display."

Casswells Home Hardware received £100-worth of vouchers, with Webbs Home & Garden, Battle, East Sussex, taking the second prize, £50-worth.
