The restored store reopened last week and now offers a full range of carpets, laminate flooring and vinyl, as well as beds and mattresses.

When rioters struck more than 30 families living above the store lost their homes. They have since been rehoused.

Store manager Paul Guyver said: "This is a really exciting time for us. Having put a lot of hard work and investment into getting this new store up and running, we are thrilled that the time has finally come.

"We are really looking forward to welcoming as many customers to the store as possible."
