Brico and Praxis man pulls out of BHETA forum

Published: 19 March 2013
Maxeda Group chief commercial officer John Colley is now unable to be a speaker at the upcoming BHETA forum, causing organisers to postpone the event.
Mr Colley, a key representative of the Belgian Brico and Dutch Praxis DIY multiples, had planned an interactive session with delegates at the event on April 4.

Meanwhile, two more housewares companies have joined the trade association. Dartington Crystal is an iconic worldwide brand within the glassware sector, while Mistral Brands supplies European branded products to the UK housewares, tabletop and giftware markets.

BHETA's housewares sector director, Will Jones, commented: "Events like [this Thursday's] forum with Steamer Trading [cookshop chain] certainly help to focus minds, and BHETA is enjoying the rewards of a sustained period of membership growth."
