Brian Walden dies aged 69

Brian Walden, managing director of B W Manufacturing (Plastics) Ltd of Grimsby, has died following a two-year illness at the age of 69.

A fellow of the Institute of Directors, Mr Walden founded B W Manufacturing in 1975 and built the business from supplying a small range of self-adhesive hooks to the hardware trade to its present day range of injection moulded furniture components to the flat-pack industry.

His funeral will be held on Monday, November 19 at the Grimsby Crematorium at 12.20pm.

Friends are welcome and floral tributes can be sent to J W Emberson Funeral Directors, 81 Macaulay Street, Grimsby.
