The candle maker and supplier has appointed Junction Eighteen as its new distributor for garden centres and retail channels.
It follows the company's recent appointment of John Barthorpe as sales manager, and forms part of a growth strategy for Bolsius in the UK as it prepares to increase market share.

Mr Barthorpe said: "We are already very strong in the catering sector so this decision has been made with a view to expanding various retail channels, including an increased emphasis on our position in the garden centres and independents.

"Junction Eighteen is an excellent fit and will enable us to achieve this objective, their appointment is confirmation of Bolsius' commitment to this market."

Junction Eighteen's managing director Chris Voisey said: "We are very pleased to add such a high profile brand as Bolsius to our portfolio. We focus on stylish, innovative and exciting products with strong seasonal themes, Bolsius is an excellent match."

The distribution agreement will start on May 1, 2012.
