Best-ever July for Home Hardware Scotland

Published: 6 August 2013
Home Hardware Scotland says it has enjoyed the best July on record, thanks to a huge uplift in sales of DIY and garden products.
Turnover was up by 24.67% for the month, and has risen 9.57% for the year to date.

The group, which has 65 member shops throughout Scotland and the north of England, says the heatwave encouraged shoppers to buy weather-related products, delivering Home Hardware massive increases: DIY supplies were up 25%, gardening was up 49.73% and garden furniture sales soared by 267.43%.
