Bayer Garden appoints new head
Colin Golding has been confirmed as head of Bayer Garden in the UK and the Republic of Ireland with immediate effect.

Formerly Bayer's head of business planning, Mr Golding originally took over as acting head when former incumbent Tommy Gill resigned in May.

Bayer Garden has seen sales and market share grow in 2009 in key product areas including weedkillers, fertilisers and rose care.

Speaking about his promotion and strategy for 2010 and beyond, Mr Golding said: "2009 has been a successful year for Bayer Garden; we have seen our initiatives deliver good results."
