B&Q is launching its latest multi-million-pound advertising campaign today (April 6).

The 60-second TV ad will debut this evening across ITV regions and, for the first time, will be screened in the Republic of Ireland. It will run throughout April and is supported by five 20-second versions, national and regional press and digital outdoor ads.

The ads star 15 of the company's employees (B&Qers) covering plumbing, gardening and designers with long trade careers behind them.

The ad finishes with the campaign strapline - "It's all do-able".

The stars of the ad were chosen from stores all over the country after a major casting exercise undertaken by B&Q's HR team.

Brand new B&Q marketing director Warren Scarr said: "The combination of people you can trust, the best prices around, underpinned by our price promise and plenty of free advice and service have given us the ingredients for our new campaign."
