B&M is to open a new Homestore store in Cross Hands on Saturday, October 28 and will create 70 jobs for local people at the site on Cross Hands Business Park.

B&M is one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers and customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded products including pet ranges, homewares and a garden centre. The new store will include an extensive DIY, decorating and furniture range.

“We’re feeling really positive about the creation of even more jobs for local people and hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store,” said a spokesperson. “We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door in a few weeks.”

Carmarthenshire county council leader Cllr Emlyn Dole commented: “This is fantastic news for Cross Hands, bringing further opportunities for residents to shop and a magnificent jobs boost to the area.”
