Apollo Housewares was named Best Display Stand at Home Hardware Southwest's spring trade show in Exeter this month.
The award earned sales manager John Goodger a cash prize of £100 and a framed certificate. Vivid Arts received the runner-up prize of £50.

Home Hardware chairman David Adams said: "It's no surprise that well-dressed stands attract more retailers and therefore achieve greater sales orders, so it's important that our suppliers take pride in their stands."

The judging panel agreed that Apollo's stand had all-round visual impact and good use of lighting, while star buys and special show offers were clearly demonstrated.

A total of 150 exhibitors attended the show, at which a draw raised £550 for Cancer Research and The Rainy Day Trust. Winner of the first prize of £100 cash was Liz Docwra from Havard Ironmongers. Home Hardware thanked all members, suppliers and staff who contributed.
