Secretariat confirms he will stay for the foreseeable future
John Herbert of BHB, the secretariat body of the European DIY Retailers Association, today confirmed that George Adams will remain president of EDRA for the foreseeable future despite stepping down from his role at Kingfisher.

Mr Adams is one of many senior management changes that have taken place since recently appointed Kingfisher ceo, Ian Cheshire took over in January this year.

Patrick Langdale and Phillippe Bon, the chief executive and commercial director respectively of Kingfisher's Brico Depot, have stepped down.

While Asia chief Steve Gilman also left the group earlier this year.
