Stax Trade Centres have enjoyed yet another year of Big Brands Show success. The two-part trade show concluded at their Manchester branch on Thursday 6th October, following a two-day show at the Glasgow depot in September.
Some of the company's biggest retail customers visited the Glasgow and Manchester shows to take advantage of 'show only' deals, offers and free give-aways from over 100 top trade brands. The new special pallet deals, which were on trial for 2016, proved to be a hugely popular attraction for customers with many placing big orders.
Feedback from exhibitors and attendees was largely positive for both shows, with many commenting that it's a must attend event and a firm date for their 2017 diaries.
Chris Noble, from Town & Country commented,
"At the Manchester Big Brands Show we had a lot of interest from Garden Centres, old & new and general new business interest. Orders where up from last year, selling in excess of 2000 pairs of wellies! Its a fantastic show for us and we will definitely be supporting it next year."
Both shows featured a charity gala dinner, with raffle proceeds and donations exceeding £2,500 in aid of Rainy Day Trust. As the UK's only home improvement charity, supporting those who work or have worked within the industry, it was a fitting cause for the occasion.
The Manchester gala dinner also hosted the presentation for the Stax Annual Sales Awards and it was a clean sweep for the Bristol team who claimed Branch of the Year, Section of the Year and Rep of the Year.
Work has already started preparing for the 2017 shows, with organisers commenting that as always it will be "bigger than ever" with more new and exciting features.
David Hibbert, Managing Director of Stax Trade Centres commented:
"We had two great shows this year and the feedback has been really positive. We continually strive to improve the shows and each year take on board comments from both customers and suppliers and we've already had interest in next year's shows from a number of our key suppliers."
