We are a privately owned business that is proud to have become one of the UK and Ireland’s leading distributors of tools, accessories and hardware products.

We always strive to provide a friendly personal service through our 12 locally managed branch teams. These local branches are also supported by substantial central distribution and specialist group support.

The main commitment we make to our customers is that we only supply to resale trades. Our customers can be confident that we always work with them and never against them.

We provide comprehensive ranges from over 250 leading and specialist brands such as Stanley, DeWalt, Irwin, Bahco, Evostik, Hultafors, Stabila, Monument, Ronseal, Hozelock, Kidde, Loctite, Bulldog, Vitrex and Yale to name but a few.

We also have our own international procurement division (we have our own offices in Shanghai) for exclusive brands and agencies such as Faithfull, Scan, Olympia Tools and Lighthouse.

This extensive range of sources ensures we can provide products for every trade, task and budget.

We have a team of over 100 external sales people throughout UK and Ireland. Our representatives, sales managers and product specialists are experienced and knowledgeable about our products and services.

These external staff are backed up by over 100 friendly, knowledgeable internal sales support personnel who are always ready to deal with customer enquiries.

Trading from 12 strategically sited warehouses, backed by central distribution we provide our customers with 24/48 hour service on over 30,000 products via our network of specialist logistical facilities.

In fact we deliver the majority of orders next day on our own fleet of vans or via our network of partner carriers.

We endeavour to make trading with Toolbank as simple as possible and so we have very few requirements or quantity stipulations. 

We lead our trade in IT and technology and can process orders or enquiries via Phone, B2B, EDI or Mobile. In fact just about any way that suits our customers.

As part of our philosophy of helping customers develop their business by selling our ranges, we provide several unique marketing initiatives including full colour catalogues that can be personalised, seasonal point of sale support, a simple-to-use B2B website to identify and source products (and produce individual marketing literature), as well as a range of website and data provision services to suit consumer and industrial environments.

Our commitment continues long after the sale as we can organise service and repairs for all the applicable products in our range. We even have our own, in-house locksmith supporting our
security products.
